DEAD MAN'S HANDS
In the smoky, crowded saloon, the Doctor leaned back in his chair, tugging his ear thoughtfully. He was dressed in his brown suit, sporting a white Stetson hat. He’d taken Donna to see the “wild west,” but hadn’t reckoned on her being kidnapped by a ruthless outlaw.
Now, he was playing for her life--five-card stud, winner takes all. The Doctor took two cards--and gasped. Aces and eights--“dead-man’s hand,” what Bill Hickock was holding, when he was murdered in Deadwood. The Doctor placed his cards on the table--the outlaw frowned deeply… Donna walked away a free woman.
