Disclaimer I don't own Doctor who the BBC does.

"The TARDIS isn't just a ship, it's alive." Jenny stepped towards them. "The TARDIS allowed me to look into its heart, then it looked into mine and I saw everything. I saw that the Time Lord's died for nothing."

"This is Time Lord Treachery and she will be exterminated. Exterminate! Exterminate!" Some Daleks cried.

"You have no power." Jenny pointed at the Daleks. "You are small. I can see the whole of Time, the Time War, everything." A bolt of light shot from her straight into the Daleks, destroying them as if they were nothing but toys.

She was acting as bad as the Master, she had the same glint of evil in her eyes that the Doctor had seen so many times before in him. Now his daughter was going the very same way the Master had.

"Jenny, let go now. You've done it." He pleaded with her to end this before it went too far.

"How can I?" She asked her father, meeting his eyes.

The Doctor looked afraid as he watched his daughter, power running through her, consuming her almost completely. He had always known, and said, that if a Time Lord looked into the heart of the TARDIS, he would become a God, A vengeful God. And now Jenny was no better than the Master.

"I control life and death, the day and the night, the stars and the moon." Jenny said.

"Doctor, what's happened?" Donna was staring at Jenny, a deep frown on her face and obvious fear in her voice.

"She hasn't just looked into the heart of the TARDIS; she's gone deeper than that. She's looked into the Time Vortex itself! The power is going to kill her. Nobody is meant to go that deep! The last time this happened, when Rose looked into the TARDIS, I had to take the power out of her myself. I absorbed it all; nobody is supposed to do that. Jenny, the way she was created... she isn't used to having all that power and knowledge running through her mind at once. It may be too much."

"But she can regenerate, right?"

"I don't know." He told her softly, his eyes still fixed firmly on his daughter. "But even Time Lords can die. If they die before regeneration then that's it, they're truly dead."

He walked slowly over to Jenny. "You've done it, now let go."

"I can't!" She clutched her head in pain.

"The power's going to destroy you! Please, Jenny!" He begged her. "Let go!"

Breanna stepped forward, near Jenny, but as she reached out, for Jenny's hand she sent a flash of power which hit Breanna, sending her crashing to the ground.

The Doctor rushed to Breanna's side.

"I am unit-." She started.

"No, Breanna. Remember. Remember Gallifrey? Your home, your family, your friends? You aren't a Dalek! Please remember. You can do this."

"There were others." She stammered.

"Others?"

"There were other Time Lords here."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes but then-." She didn't continue.

"What happened to them?"

Breanna paused for a brief moment as she started to cry. The Doctor wrapped his arms round her. "Shh its okay." He reassured.

"Here you're safe."

"They murdered them in front of me. They should've killed me, too." She mumbled.

"No, don't even say that. " The Doctor said.

He walked over to Jenny, placing his hands on both sides of her face. She collapsed into his arms. He carried her into the TARDIS, carefully laying her on the floor, stroking her hair gently. He felt her forehead... she was burning up. He knew every cell in her body was dying and that the next time he saw her she would look completely different.

It was silent for a long moment then Jenny's eyes suddenly flickered open. "What happened?" She asked, dazed and confused.

"You looked into heart of the Time Vortex. No Time Lord should ever have that much power; it was killing you and so you regenerated."

Seeing Jenny with that power had scared him. The Doctor never wanted his daughter to become like the Master or even like himself, for that matter. She had killed the Daleks. It had been what he had wanted to do for a long, long time, no matter how wrong it was. The Doctor hoped that this regeneration of her would be different,

Davros turned to Breanna " Unit 0736790, you betrayed the Daleks."

"I am not unit 0736790! My name is Breanna."

"You are unit 0736790."

"My name is Breanna!"

"Unit 0736790!" Screamed Davros as tears filled Breanna eyes.

"Leave her alone." Hissed the Doctor.

"She belongs to me!" Screamed Davros. In the confusion, Breanna ran as fast as she could, full of fear of this mad man who was king of his own little world. Unknown to her, there was other Daleks in the building that neither the Doctor nor Jenny were aware of. Soon enough, Breanna came face to face with the Master Dalek.

"No." She whispered.

A piercing scream was heard.

"No, Breanna!" The Doctor shouted. As he ran from the room he heard Daleks approaching. Soon after, there was an earspitting scilence. He knew before going through that door that she was dead, and he couldn't stand the thought of seeing her that. So he did the only thing he could he ran away back towards the TARDIS.

He turned towards Donna "One more trip?"

She shook her head. "I do have something waiting for me." Flashing her engagement ring, she added, "Or rather, someone." Noticing the Doctor's expression, she asked, "Breanna?"

Pain etched upon his face, though he didn't need to say, he had lost someone again.

He ran round TARDIS like Breanna hadn't effected him setting the coordinates for Chiswick.

The Doctor and Donna walked out of the tarries.

"Doctor, I really thought finding Breanna was something worth living for."

The Doctor looked defeated looked at Donna "There's always something worth living for." Donna wasn't sure if he believed that or he was trying to convince himself. "Or rather, someone." He said, mimicking her.

"Goodbye, Earth Girl."

"Bye Space Man."

"Right. Next stop, Torchwood." He smiled through the sadness.

Jenny put her hand on his arm. "Are you okay?"

"Me? 'Course I am! I'm always fine."
