For the longest moment the room fell silent. The President, and the Chancellor came to where Erisa stood, not knowing how she was going to take it. However she remained silent, as she looked down at her feet. They expected some kind of reaction but so far there was nothing.

"Child, did you hear what we told you?" The President asked concern in his voice.

"I heard," she whispered, before she launched at the President, "No, he's not." Her voice trailed off. "He said he was coming back for me. He promised." She whispered. "No!" she screamed. "He's not dead, take that back!" Chancellor Flavia tried to take the young girl into her arms to comfort her, as Erisa sobbed as the tears fell down her face.

"There is still the matter concerning-" started the President.

Flavia turned to the President. "I don't think this is neither the right place nor the right time."

Erisa pulled away from the Chancellor directing her focus on the President. "You killed him," she spat. "You and your non inference rules, I hope you know what you have done," she screamed, as the tears continued to fall down her face.

"We are truly sorry, Child, but he is dead," he murmured, as Flavia tried to guide the young girl away. However determined, Erisa launched herself at the President getting more hysterical. Both the President and the Chancellor tried to calm her down, the Guards stood some distance away watching the scene before them, looking bored. Finally the President shouted, "Commander!" Commander Maxil appeared into the room with several more Guards. "Take her away!" Maxil got hold of her to restrain her as she started to struggle as they led her away.

"Get off me! I hope you lot sleep well!" she spat, as she writhed in their hands. "Maxil," she sobbed, "Get your hands off of me!" But he showed no emotion, much like the Cloned Time Lords, but Maxil wasn't a clone. He was a very emotionless person, cold and distant. Leading her towards the large cold dungeon, he pushed her inside and as she fell to the ground, he looked at her with mere disgust. She in his mind was getting everything she deserved and more.

She looked up at him pleadingly, "Please Maxil, the Doctor is dead."

"Why should that concern me?" He said. "I have my orders."

"You don't have to relish them so much." Erisa said, looking at him. He said nothing, but silently stalked out of the dungeon.

Erisa tried through the pain to remember when all of this had started. She supposed it had started when she lost her whole family. She was never quite the same afterwards, with the other Time Lords describing her as a much darker person. Somebody they did not recognise. She was no longer the sweet girl she was often described as. She became a bit of a wild child. It could have been the loss of her family, or the fact Rassilon had become her legal Guardian after her parents were both gone. He had encouraged the relationship between her and Maxil. A relationship she neither wanted nor desired.

Being the president's daughter, Rassilon ruled her life: she couldn't choose who her friends were and she was guarded constantly by the Chancellery had been one of her Guards, along with Kelner, and Andre. Despite not wanting the relationship, she did reach out to him. That's when she discovered how cold he was as a person and the coldness within him seemed to go on forever. She had longed for the Doctor to come back and take her away again, but he never did come back.

Erisa eventually fell asleep in the dungeon, restlessly stirring in her sleep, mumbling "Doctor...Doctor..."

"Beloved Child of Gallifrey," the voice called to her. Erisa' eyes flicked open. Trying to remember how she got here. As she tried to focus, she remembered the Doctor was dead. Tears streamed down her face hiding her face in her hands, she felt such despair.

"Do not cry Child," said the Voice. Erisa looked up to see the White Guardian standing before her.

"He- he's dead..." whispered Erisa.

"Beloved Child of Gallifrey, you do understand the term time is in flux? Then there is no time to waste. You can still save the Doctor."

"How?"

"By changing time back to how it was meant to be."

Erisa couldn't focus; all she wanted to do was sleep. Her eyes drooped and she felt herself slip into sleep.

Moments later, she vaguely felt someone shaking her, but she felt that she didn't have the energy nor the will to care any more "Wake up." The voice called to her, shaking her. Slowly Erisa woke up, her face still wet with tears. Maxil stared at her with cold lifeless eyes. He pulled her up until she was facing him, but she stumbled and she started to fall. Maxil looked at her remembering how it used to be, or how it could have been, as she collapsed into his arms. He sighed deeply, as he held her "Oh Erisa, why do I always get to the point where I can move on from you but I can't?" He cradled her in his arms for a long moment.

"Erisa." he hissed, but it was no use because she was unconscious. He placed her on the bed taking a bottle of liquid from his pocket. It was purely a type of healing energy drink. "You need to drink this," he murmured. Forcing her mouth open, he poured the liquid into her mouth. Slowly her eyes opened, "Commander Maxil" she said.

"When did you start calling me Commander?" he said, looking at her curiously. He tried to read her thoughts but they remained blank. "My orders are to take you to the high council." The coldness had returned to his voice.
