THE END OF TIME
Prologue for my new story, hope you like it and please review. Next chapter Disclaimer I don't own Doctor Who or Torchwood they belong to the BBC but if I did own them David Tennant would still be the Doctor PROLOGUE "I've got the whole universe. Planets to save, civilisations to rescue, creatures to defeat - and an awful lot of running to do." After leaving Messaline, Jenny only had one thing on her mind. Finding her Father, who was none other than the Doctor; the very same, brilliant man who saved planets time and time again. Her Dad. But where to start? It had being over a year now and she was getting no closer to finding him. She was about to give up when a warning flashed on her spaceship - fuel low. "No, no, no, not now!"Jenny gasped. This really wasn't the time to be crashing! She screamed at her spaceship, knowing she was about to crash and braced herself for certain death. She tried desperately to scramble for the controls but they were locked as her ship started speeding towards Earth... A sudden crash sent the Torchwood office shaking like an Earthquake. Jack spilled all his coffee over his paperwork and growled. "What was that?" Gwen asked. Jack jumped up, "Something's hit the outside of the hub!" Jack started running outside, where a crowd had now gathered. "Okay everyone can you move away? There is nothing to see!" He called out as people slowly started moving away. Slowly, his eyes drank in the small spaceship that had crashed mercilessly into the side of the Cardiff water tower. The windscreen was smashed into oblivion and half the metal casing had caved in. He ran towards it, his eyes searching for some kind of door or opening. Jack had no idea what to expect as he pushed opened the door, but there, slumbered over the controls was a young woman. Her blonde hair was slightly matted with blood where she had hit her head and there were deep scratches all over her arms. He picked her up and carried her into the Torchwood hub. Through the blood and scratches, Jack couldn't help but notice that she had a very pretty face...he called out to Gwen as they entered, asking her to set up a bed in the hospital room. Jenny's eyes flickered open and it took her a moment to adjust. Everything seemed blurred, her head was spinning and she was only vaguely aware of the hard mattress beneath her back and the high white ceiling above her. It didn't exactly look like your typical hospital, for a start there were no staff or other patients...so where on earth was she? And more to the point, how had she got there? She squeezed her eyes shut, willing herself to remember. Her mind scrabbled around for the right thread and she eventually found it. The ship. She had crashed the ship. She let out an internal groan as she recalled it speeding, too fast, down towards earth. She remembered scrambling for the controls but they'd locked down - a warning light on the panel told her that she'd run out of fuel. She'd braced herself, expecting death again...but it never came. She could remember the sensation of the glass windscreen shattering over her, the deafening crushing sound as she collided with a water tower...and then everything had gone blank.
