Gallifrey was gone, destroyed within seconds. Braxiatel had known it was coming and he tried to preserve what he could—his people and his family. The mother of his child had been stubborn that day, he should of known she would be, putting Gallifrey first.

He had watched her through the window as she looked at her baby daughter, her tiny fingers gripping her own as she leaned over her daughter, kissing her forehead gently for the last time, before the door opened.

Irving Braxiatel stood in the doorway, worried beyond belief. He had being through every scenario and nothing.

This war was not winnable.

They would lose everything, but he was determined not to lose either of them. He needed them out of Gallifrey soon and as safely as possible. Even the Doctor could not persuade her to leave he knew it was a losing battle one he would never win.

As he entered the room she was there in her beautiful gold and glitter robes, looking as angelic as an angel but that 's how he would always remember her.

She loved Gallifrey more than anything and everything and he knew she would sacrifice herself for her planet. Braxiatel knew that he couldn't have said anything to change her mind.

She looked up, noticing Braxiatel and smiled sadly. "Please you have to take her from me. She's so little…so innocent."

He stepped forward, his robes trailing the aqua marble floor and walked towards them.

"Take care of her, Braxiatel," a tear rolled down her cheek.

He shook his head firmly. " I won't take your baby from you."

I want her safe; I know you would never put her in danger."

"Then come with us,Gallifrey has destroyed you enough," he pulled her close to him wrapping his arms tightly around as she cried against his chest. He could not be without either of them. This was the woman he loved with everything he had, how could he walk away from her and take their baby?

"I love you so much," he whispered "Never forget that." He placed a tender kiss on her lips.

"I love you too, Irving." she sniffled against him. All too soon they pulled apart and she picked up their baby. She gently kissed her daughter's cheek, before handing her to her father

"Promise me if I don't survive you will tell her about me."

"I can't do this." Brax pleaded with her to reconsider her decision.

"You can and you will. You are so strong, Brax, I will always love you for that."

"I love you,my Lady," he gently kissed her cheek before quietly slipped out of the room.

He would never forget hearing her sobs from behind that closed door as he took their daughter from Gallifrey. He should never have allowed her to stay, not her. Pushing the memories far back, he tried not to think of what he had lost. That beautiful creature that captured both his hearts.

Braxiatel looked at the baby in the pram. This baby was all he had left of her. He couldn't bring himself to love this baby the same way, he didn't want this child. Didn't want the memories, the pain of seeing her in this baby every time he held her.

He stood as the baby wailed and cried. Brax knew he should hold and comfort her, but he couldn't. He merely looked upon her coldly.

"Have you tried picking her up, mate?" A woman came into view; her fiery red hair gently blew around her face by the rustling wind. She walked past him and picked up the baby, who giggled happily.

"You're a natural," Braxiatel said curiously. There was something about her that was vaguely familiar but he couldn't quite place it.

"My name is Irving Braxiatel." he finally explained, extending his hand.

"Donna, Donna Noble,"
