"Winifred," Donna ran over to her, immediately feeling pity. Winifred looked up, shaking her head sadly. Tears were still streaming down her face and Winifred quickly wiped them away, not wanting to be weak.

"Did you remember something?" Donna rubbed her back as Winifred regained composure.

"Nothing of importance," she shrugged, braving a smile.

"I know what it's like not being able to remember things. You can come talk to me whenever." Donna assured her.

"I don't belong here," Winifred shook her head.

"Don't say that, he likes having you here. We both do."

"He just thinks I'm some runaway kid. I see it in his eyes." She was silent for a moment. "He has old eyes," she whispered curiously. "He's lived a very long time."

"How did you know that?" Donna gave her a questioning look.

"I don't know," Winifred frowned. The two women stared at each other before turning towards the familiar sound of running feet.

"Right," the Doctor didn't realize he was interrupting anything. He set the coordinators and pulled down some levers. "Time to find my niece."

Donna helped Winifred up before she turned towards the Doctor, smiling. "We'll find her in no time."

"That's a promise," the Doctor said firmly. He was determined to find her, and he would do it before anyone could lay their hands on her.

However, he didn't know how long it would really take, and before he knew it, time was running out.

Bernice walked into Brax's office. He seemed troubled, more than usual. Bernice knew that he hadn't slept well ever since Aleena was taken. Ever since Romana died.

"Bernice, how good to see you today." He nodded at her, hesitation creasing his brow. "I saw you and Jason."

"He just brought over Peter," Benny assured him.

"Please do not say you are attempting to give him a second chance. You can do so much better, Benny." Brax said sternly. Bernice was slightly taken aback.

"He's not so bad really. Besides, who else is there to-"

"I'm here," Brax interrupted. Bernice gave an unbelievable laugh.

"Oh come off it! You and me? I am not falling for that one; you just want someone to replace Romana."

Brax shook his head in protest. "That's not true. You've helped me through so much, you're…special to me."

Benny sighed. It wasn't like her life was plain sailing, it was complicated. Not only did she have an annoyingly handsome ex-husband, but the father of her own child was a Killoran. A Killoran! Brax had always been a good friend, she admitted to herself that he was handsome, but a relationship with him? What had the universe come to?

Before she could register what was happening he had pulled her close to him and his lips were on hers. She was confused at what to do. Brax was so desperate, begging for change. She stood there helpless, not wanting to kiss Brax back, but not wanting to deny the sudden butterflies in her stomach. She could feel the pure need to love once more inside of Brax, he was so broken. She wanted to help him. She was so caught up she didn't notice someone walking into the room, and before she knew it, the door slammed shut.

Bernice jumped, pulling back immediately. She didn't want to look at Brax; she didn't want to look at anyone. She whirled towards the window, just in time to see Jason running away.

"Bern-" Brax started. Benny whirled around, shaking her head.

"This can't happen," she whispered in shock and anger before running out the door. "Jason!" He was running down the stairs at alarming speed, away from Brax, away from her.

"Jason!" she called again from the top of the stairs. He was at the bottom, close to a door. He was shaking with quiet rage. Bernice didn't understand, her and Jason weren't together anymore.

"You said that the two of you were just friends!" Jason shouted, his hands balled into fists, the muscles on his arms flexing.

"He kissed me!" Benny protested.

"Don't even say that, Benny! That's what everyone says!" Jason threw up his hands. "I thought we were going to start over," he whispered quietly.

"He's mourning," Bernice tried to explain, but to no avail.

Jason sighed. "I—I don't want to be your ex anymore. I don't want to be the mistake. We can make this work, Benny. Give me a chance. Give us a chance. Don't waste it on Brax, especially if he can't keep track of himself. He won't care for you or Peter like I will. We can do this, Benny. I still want to see you tonight; we can do anything you want." He began to ramble on, running a hand through his dark brown hair, determined to make this work. He looked so handsome Benny had to laugh, holding up her hands for him to stop.

"All right, blimey, Jason, you are like a teenage boy. Tonight, seven p.m. Until then, I need time to figure this out."

The Doctor pressed some buttons and the TARDIS materialised. Donna, the Doctor and Winifred departed and headed into the elegant collection. The Doctor had to admit, being back on the collection was unsettling, and he would never forget their last argument. Of course, the Doctor never forgot anything.

Winifred gasped at the magnificence works of art around her, captivated. The Doctor was busy whispering to himself or to Donna, so Winifred was able to wander off without being noticed. She was following a beautiful line of paintings.

Around the corner she noticed a beautiful, shining vase, and she picked it up to get a better look. Suddenly, it slipped out of her hands and smashed into a thousand pieces on the ground.

Unfortunately for her, Braxiatel had just appeared. He saw what had happened and immediately forgot the awkward conversation with Benny, now filled with anger. He cursed loudly. Startled, Winifred turned around, shocked to see the angry man who looked so familiar.

"It was an accident," she whispered. "I'm so sorry."

Brax didn't want to hear it. He grabbed her by the wrist, assuming she was another companion of his brother's, and he marched her away from the mess.

The Doctor and Donna caught up with the quarrelling pair not long after. "I said sorry!" Winifred snapped, getting impatient as she struggled out of his grip. Brax noticed his brother, frowning.

"Get her out of here now," Braxiatel snarled. "I want her out of here. I want her off the collection."

"Suits me just fine!" Winifred shouted back and she marched off in another direction.

"Winifred?" the Doctor questioned, running after her in haste, mostly to get away from his fuming brother.

"Are you all right?" Donna asked. "Come on; let's get you to your office." "How are you doing Brax?" Donna asked once Brax sat back down behind his desk.

"As well as could be expected. I take it you didn't find Aleena."

Donna shook her head, unable to say the inevitable. The two sat in silence for a bit. "You seem different," Donna finally inquired. She also noted he didn't seem to share the concern the Doctor had over his daughter. Something was wrong

"I think it's time to let Romana go," Brax shrugged, looking out of the window. Benny, and Peter were having a picnic. It was a beautiful day today. Brax hadn't been outside in ages. He hadn't felt the cool grass between his toes, and ever beaming sun, the warmth. He missed it all.

He wanted a change.

Donna let out a small gasp. "No, you don't say?" she smiled. "You and Benny, eh? How's that working out for you?"

"Let's just say it's a one sided relationship."

"So Irving Braxiatel is just going to give up is he?" Donna's playful tone finally caused the mourning man to smile. It felt good to smile again.

"Perish the thought of giving up," he managed a small smile before rubbing his forehead.

"Something wrong?" Donna looked concerned.

"A headache," Brax said casually. "Nothing more."

"You look tired," Donna noted.

"I haven't slept lately." Brax shook his head, sighing. Donna reached out, gently touching his head. Instantly, Brax stiffened.

"You have no idea what you're doing,"

"There's a first time for everything."

"I won't connect to another Time Lord's mind," Braxiatel said firmly.

"But-" Donna started to say. "What's going on with you?"

"Nothing for you to worry about."

"Irving?" she gave him the same look Romana would have if she had been here.

Sighing in defeat, Brax finally told Donna. "I have an alien presence inside my mind. It feeds on greed and ambition. If I connect with another Time Lord mind then I dread to think what she would do. I took this creature into my own mind to save Gallifrey. To save Romana."

"This creature, what is it?"

"Pandora."
