I met Captain Reynolds at his ship. He was not blatantly handsome, but his demeanor made up for that. I hate to say it, but I think I fell for him before I fell for the ship. I immediately loved Serenity. So very like her name. I knew I had to be the renter of the shuttle. Of course I didn’t let my eagerness show. I played the man. Told him that it was he who needed me. He bought it, though he fought hard. In the end, he said he'd get back to me. But I knew it was mine. I would be shipping out with Serenity. And the not-so-blatantly handsome captain.
