HEARTS AFLAME
"You have betrayed you family....." Ozunu's whispery voice but sinister voice whispered at him. Raizo was in pain, tied to the pole and he knew death was coming tied to the pole and he knew death was coming as swiftly as the stroke of a blade on his neck. "They are not my family, and you, are not my father" Raizo declared feeling every word ringing true inside him. It was like a match had been lit somewhere inside the depths of his darkness and a warm feeling spread though him with those word. But any thought was cut by the excruciating pain brought about by the inhuman pressure Ozuno was applying to his kidney. He screamed in agony.... Raizo woke up with a start, he was sweating. He stared into the empty space of semi darkness in his room. He checked his bedside watch and it read 6:30, it wasn't a bad time time to wake up and start his workout. He stared at himself on the bathroom mirror. Sometimes he stared and barely recognized the person who stared back at him. There were times when he felt so lost, but he reminded himself he had made it this far. He had defeated his greatest enemy Ozuno and it was worth it. He hardly had nightmares concerning that awful place in the past three months. Certain events triggered memories that were thought to be long forgotten. Perhaps now it had to do with Maslow's phonecall two days ago.
