DANCE WITH ME, PIRATE

Isabella had no idea why Captain Jack was celebrating; there had been no special occasions. Besides, her 28th birthday wasn't anything to be happy about. She was just another year older. Jack had ignored all of Isabella's pleas to not make a big deal out of his, and created a nice party on deck, complete with lights, rum, and homemade decorations.

Jack had stolen many nice things: necklaces, golden cups, fancy wine, and even a little record player or whatever it was back in the day. The pirates had tried to dress nice. They had stolen good clothes to wear, but their greasy skin and bad hygiene totally ruined the look. Jack just wore what he usually wore.

Isabella growled when she heard the music on deck. Damnit Jack! I told you a million times! The little invitation card to come onto the deck was on the bed in front of her. She stood and walked over, picked it up, and read it.

Dear Luv,

I know you've told me a million times to make make your party a big deal, but this will be the best birthday you're ever going to have, I promise you luv.

From Your Handsome Captain,

Captain Jack Sparrow

He had asked Elizabeth to write the letter in ink; she had given it to him for free, partly because she was best friends with Isabella, and partly because Jack refused to pay. Isabella sighed.

Jack would be disappointed in me - not to mention heartbroken - if I didn't come out of this room ... "

Isabella kept her regular clothes on and walked outside, lurking in the shadows of the night-covered ship. The lights were bright and beautiful, and the rum were settled on barrels blanketed with a tarp. Most of the rum was gone, in the hands of the dancing pirate crew. Isabella didn't see Jack, so she slowly began creeping up the stairs to the wheel, still in the shadows.

A hand wrapped around her arm and she was blindfolded and hugged against somebody. She could feel the man's warm breath on her neck.

"Let go of me," Isabella angrily whispered. The man chuckled a little bit.

"Easy tiger."

"Will?!"

"Shh! Jack has no idea you're out here, and he doesn't know I'm actually on the ship, either. So just shut up and get along like a good captive!"

Isabella laughed. "Aye aye, captor."

She and Will walked down the steps and into the open, where Isabella was un-blindfolded. She saw the many pirates cheer when they saw her lovely face. She blushed.

"The birthday girl and her lover, aye?"

It was Jack! He swaggered over to Will and Isabella and eyed William. Isabella laughed again.

"Nope, he's my captor, and I'm his captive. He made me come down here."

"I also came to surprise everybody with my presence!" Will added.

"Smug."

"Shut up, captive."

Isabella saluted Will and looked back at Jack. "So, Captain, you're a damned lier! (A/N: Spelling check?) You promised not to throw me a birthday bash, yet you did."

Jack grinned and moved the bangs out of her face. "Only for your own good to have fun, luv. You know I would never lie to hurt you or do something stupid ... which I admit I do alot - the stupid part."

"Yes, you do."

"But, luv, you should at least have a little fun, aye?"

" .... "

"I'll take that as a yes! Now, go dance with Will and have fun!"

"I hate you."

"I love you too," Jack said, kissing Isabella's forehead and twirling her off into Will's arms. She smiled. Isabella danced with Will and almost every pirate in the crew. She hated how they didn't smell like Will: clean and handsome. But soon she saw Jack alone over by the rum, looking out into the sea. Isabella walked over to him and hopped onto a barrel all bubbly.

"Hey Jack!"

"Aye?"

"Dance with me, pirate."

Jack looked at her with a query in his brown eyes. Isabella grabbed his hands and pulled him into the open, where they waltzed. Isabella had no idea how, but she did her best. At the end of the dance, Jack did the traditional lower-the-woman. Isabella stared at him, a little hope and yearning in her eyes, making them sparkle. Jack leaned down to touch her nose when Isabella stood back up. He gently brushed her lips with his, and then pecked her. Isabella growled inwardly at him being so "Jack", and reached forward, kissing him hard on the lips. Jack felt a little surprised, but smirked into the kiss. Isabella smiled, too, and hooked her arms around Jack's neck, leaning out of the kiss a little to catch her breath.

Jack looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "Did you have fun?"

Isabella stared at him and nuzzled his neck; something she's always wanted to do in the movie, but had never been able to do behind the T.V. screen. "Eh, so-so."

"This will change your mind, luv."

Jack pressed his hand on the small of Isabella's back, making her arch forward, straight into Jack's kiss. She laughed as he kissed her.

"Stoppit, luv, that tickles."

"I've never heard you say that before," Isabella smirked, taking off Jack's hat and putting it on her. "And therefore, this has been the cutest birthday everrrr!"

Jack laughed, and began to twirl Isabella again.

THE END.
