IZZY MEETS JACK SPARROW

"That's not what I meant, geez." The two pirates scowled at me. Then I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I spun around to see a captain with a red bandana and dreads, also beads and a coin on top.

"Hello, love," he told me. "I 'eard ye have one of the 9 pieces of 8." I touched my necklace, feeling the carved edges of the rare coin.

"What do you want with it Captain?" I asked. He smiled.

"Give it here." He held out his hand and barely grabbed the coin when I pulled a gun out of my boot.

"What's your name?"

"Captain Jack Sparrow, madam." And a this he bowed and tipped his hat. I put the pistol back.

"Alright, Jack, I'll give it to you..," I told him, ripping the necklace off and intently holding it, walking slowly down the boat. Jack stared at me.

"For what?" he asked, desperate. I turned around, walked up to him, and put my face about two inches in front of his.

"..I'll give it to you if you make me a member of your crew." He looked at my lips, then my eyes, then the coin I held firmly.

"That's all?"

"Yup."

"Deal."

"Yes!" I yelled childishly. Then, I almost handed to him when I added,"But for now I'll just hold onto it for a while longer, 'K?" I snatched it in mid-air, turned around, and struted to the captain's quarters. Jack's lip twitched. Mr. Gibbs ambled up behind him and smiled crookedly.

"Tricky lass, Cap'n. Y'don't see them round much," he chuckled as Jack flipped open his compass. The darn thing spun in circles as it always did, so he cursed at it, smacked it, then closed it.

"Well, adventure lies due west Mr. Gibbs. I s'pose that's where we can get some bloody rum at least." And with that, he spun around and went to the back deck.

"Aye, Cap'n! Alright ye salty sea dogs! West! To rum!" Mr. Gibbs enthused.
