THE BLACK PEARL & THE BLACKEST DEPTHS
Chapter Four Setting Sail "Yes, yes, um..well, Kira's crew, meet my, Captain Jack Sparrow's, crew," he said, drunk. My crew and his lined up 3 inches away from each other's faces. "Aye," we all yelled. I stepped 1 inch closer to Jack's face. "Aye." Jack stopped drinking. "Aye," he said, the gold in his teeth showing. I sighed and smiled. "Jack, Jack, Jack. When have you ever not smelled like rum?" I whispered. Jack looked away, then shrugged. "When have you ever not smelled beautiful?" he asked me. I frowned. "Yer drunk, Jack." Just then, a man with shoulder-length brown hair tied into a loose low ponytail, white shirt showing his chest, and long red breeches approached me from behind. "Captain, are we ready yet?" he growled, eyeing Jack. "Yes, we are, Peter. Ready the ship, men!" I yelled, raising my sword high. My crew shouted, "Aye", and scurried aboard The Blackest Depths, along with me. Before Peter boarded, he stared at the drunken pirate. "Listen, Sparrow," he started menacingly,"I see the way you look at her, the way you talk to her, even if you are bloody drunk, you do not touch her in any way, no matter the conditions, do you understand?" Jack's eyes were wide. He nodded. "Good," Peter stated with his calm, yet mean, English accent. "Peter!" I yelled. "Are you comin' love?" He stopped staring at the man in front of him and nodded slightly. "Of course, Captain! We set sail!" With those words, my crew burst into loud cheers. "Nice kid," Jack said plainly, then boarded his Pearl.
